Hmmm.... spits, sputters, then quits in the middle of a left turn two seconds before the semi arrives? On the way to the dealer for that # 36 download! How big can you get those "Depends" ? :o

Close to how my dealer wrote up the ticket!  I attached my copy above and here is the G version of Calibration 36.  Note, this will not fix the problem without a few minor adjustments as noted in the NCR copy.  Since they decided to use the SERT to fix mine, this is the only calibration for 2006 CUSE so that is what the dealer used to make adjustments to.  Not sure that I understand how the adjustments resolved the problem since from my initial reading of the manual, I would have thought other adjustments would have been made, but that just shows how much I know!  The problem was resolved!  If it aint broke now, I certainly did not want to attempt to fix it again! Still feel it is still lean however, so I will post an updated copy after my dyno tune scheduled for next week.  I just installed the 2:1's with the SE Air (the one that doesn't fit CUSE's! OK the bike went to the dealer for 2 weeks I told them about all the suggestions everbody had and let them see what they could find.
called them up after 4 or 5 days and was told "we are working on the bike now we dont know what is wrong with it but it is running like s#%t"
Bike comes back, running better than ever their answer????  WE couldnt find anything wrong with it

SO I take the bike out for 200 miles bring it home and park it next morning the bike starts and runs fine I dont know what they did and dont care it runs now.    I leave for Sturgis August 5 well see what happens between now and then. The only thing the dealer did mention is that Harley is recomending you get gas from Exxon or Mobile ONLY as they are admitting that the bikes are having problems in Massachusetts with the ethanol added to the fuel? any body else heard of this problem?

Thanks again for all your help yoy guys are great maybe i will see you on the road sometime.

Just had the SERT done yesterday, came to the first left hander and nearly did the "dump dance".  Did the G #36 with Vance and Hines true duals and stock slip ons along with the air cleaner change.

Mine used to sputter, now it dies.  F%^&*ng chit, back to the dealer in the AM.  Oh and had the rain gauge replaced too, so now my radio has crappy reception and the wiped out the face of my radio display.  New tech, not impressed.  Never had a problem before.  They'll get another chance and then off to another down the road.

What does the race tuner cable and software enable you to do? My dealer offered to install the breather, put the downlaod on and run the dyno for three hundred bucks. I want to have it done if it will cure the problem.  :-?

I feel your pain Rog, mine had none of the cold start problems after delivery, added Rineharts, A/C, and SERT at delivery, the dealer but a map on and I didn't like it because of the pop on decel and it didn't make as much seat of the pants power as my 05.  I decided to download a map from H-D Maps and 'wha-la' cold start cough/spit issues and and quirky issue when you roll out of the throttle to change gears like it's totally lost power (it's really hard to describe).  It makes good power though.  I'm biting the bullet and taking it back to the dealer that dynoed the 05 with the same setup.  I just hope the cold start chit goes away!

Jerry the dealer did the down load after approval from the moco so im asumming that it it a factory race tune

Ultramellon...when the dealer makes the download of the SERT they have to return to you the CD, the interface...everythinh...they can't keep it since after the download is made the CD is only for your bike.....in other words, is unusable for other bike...... [smiley=nervous.gif]
