I'm definitely ready for higher altitude and Colder Beer!  I am sick of this hot dry weather and watching my crops burn clear the hell up!!

I hear you.  I was born and raised up in your neck of the woods.  My Dad started renting out our farm a few years ago, just as well cause I don't think we'd have much of a soy bean crop this year.

Has anyone notified the Chubbie's folks about the issues with the interior dimensions of their bars?  Seems like it would be very easy for them to take care of the problem in manufacturing if they know about it.  Bars made for the ETC bikes should come with the opening for the sensor already properly sized for that sensor.  If they don't, I'd consider that a manufacturing defect.

Have put Heat Demons in a half dozen Wild1 Bars and one of them had an issue like is being described here.  Could always be a one-off mistake but my own, albeit limited, experience with them has been ok.
