I'm working out how to meet you guys, but I'm leaving from the Lancaster area and Rt 30 is the best way to get to York from Lancaster, so that's the way I'll be going.

I looked at PM's brake options and they don't list any products for 2007 or 2008 Springers, here's what they list on their website:

I used PM 1230-0017-CH on my 04 springer, they will work on 07 fxstsse. ( I called them to make sure ) They stopped the bike a lot better then the stock ones. The one problem I had with them was I couldn't get them centered over the rotor, and the instructions so how to shim them over to line them up but only oneway and not the rightway. So I could never get them exactly right.

The brake system I am going to put on my CVO Springer is Brembo from QTM

I looked at the Brembo brakes and those won't work for the 08' since these have a left side mounted brake...I would seriously consider them if they become available for the left side mount.

I have a thread going in the CFNE. 

The plan is to leave north Jersey in time to be in York by 9 AM.

I sent the sales dept. an email for both PM and QTM to ask them if they will manufacture a caliper to fit the new 2008 FXSTSSE2.  I will post my findings.

We have not been able to get the 2008 Springer bike in here to do the R & D work on. If Harley has changed their design on the Springer front brake than, we most likely will have to design a brake to work with the 08. It will defiantly be a 4 piston caliper. As for a time we don’t know anything yet. Most of our new product is released in February of the new year. If you have any further questions let me know.

Waking up an OLD thread I know.

What is available for the 2008 FXSTSSE2 CVO Springer front brake caliper wise ?

Straight bolt on no messing wise. Don't have the time or inclination for modifications.

 (I'm happy with the stock front Brembo clone on my current 2008 FXSTC Softail Custom ).

That's what I want for my 2008 CVO Springer if it's possible ?
