The 08 seat does fit the 09, but i took the 08 back and traded it in for the 09 dual tourer and im glad i did because the 09 is much nicer and the cushions are better also. This picture is with the 08 seat.

I have bought an 08 corbin dual touring seat and a corbin solo and both of them do not come up far enough in the front to reach the chrome trim on the tank, leaving a gap. Not a huge one, so I still use them. Other than that they do fit.
