One of the great things about this forum is that you get to see photos of places that you might otherwise never see.

Ed,
Great photos and excellent ride report. That report was so descriptive I felt like I was there with you. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I miss home!

No problem Bro, I'll be posting more pics. I haven't had time to write up a ride the GF and I went on yesterday. Only a few shoots but I'll try and get them on tomorrow.

What area are you from? any place I can take a ride to and get some shoots for you?

Terry,
That's what I love about riding too, I feel so much more part of the surrounding.

Any time you and the GF want to come up let me know. We'll make room. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I asked Donna the other day if she'd be interested in heading down to Bama sometime. Sooner or later we'll be passing through. Then I can post pics from there too.
Ed

The same invitation is extended to you and Donna...I've got an extra bedroom and room in the basement for the bike.  Any time...I've even got access to a nice lake house (my best friend) and there's plenty of room.

My best friend is a licensed Therapist...we've both laughed about how few bikers he ever sees in his office...the bike IS therapy for me...those rides like you just took are good for the soul....

Bill,
We were there around 6:30. Just missed you. I've been over to New London too. Peter Christens Tavern and Wildberries are two great places to eat. Nice area all around.
Ed

That's where we ate!  Good food and beer but a little too "California" for me...not sure what I am describing but all that comes to mind is "Sprouts" and I don't know why!  Sort of a health food place as opposed to a tavern.

Don't get me wrong...it wasn't bad...just not what I expect from a New England Tavern...however, the Tuckerman Draft is always good.

Here is their menu:

With things like Hummus, Wings baked and not Fried...real Buffalo Wings have to be fried first before coating with sauce!
