6x9 in the fairing ?   That's huge.  Biketronix is selling 6x9 HAT now.  I'm sure they are a big improvement too

And Biketronics gives a lifetime warrenty on all their stuff! Ask for Bill in Tech support. Part of his job is blowing stuff up, so he is a wealth if information.

Good luck

My mistake.  Focal 6.5's in the fairing.

Thats all I have is the 1 set of Focal 6x5's in the fairing with the Arc amp and they work/sound amazing. I was prepared to also put a set in the lids (made a deal with Sound Noyz the company that did the work to sway out the Arc amp for the 4 channel when I do) but don't think I will hear them anyway at speed which is the only real time I listen anyway. I would do it if I thought it would "add" to the sound at speed but don't believe that would be the case and I would be pissed if I made that investment (new lids plus the speakers) and didn't get that additional "lift" for the money. The company that did my work (they were awesome if you are in the So Cal area) did not think they would really add anything above 50 mph where "i live" most of the time.

Correction:  Soundzcustomz.com     They have speakers that go up to 6x9's for the front fairing and 6x9's for the saddlebags.

Thanks so much for recommendation. I was trading e-mails with Peter all day yesterday. Yes, on a Sunday! I'm impressed.

Looks like I'm gonna go with the Focal`s. May be pricey but as some of you said, you get what you pay for.  :2vrolijk_21:
