I returned mine and it sounds like they are aware of the mis-print in the catalog and expect that they will make a touring latch soon.
I wouldn't doubt that I could grind the edge on the plunger and make it work but I hate to have to modify something that I had to pay the $$ for. It's winter here, I can wait a while and see what comes out of the MoCo.
