I purchased a HD Classic so I can built the Custom I wanted, I like the CVO, Screamin Eagle concept, but I don't like some of the options on the CVO, personnel preference, that's why I went this route.
I don't want to go down the road of what I don't like about CVO's but I will take the highway of conceptions the CVO's bring.
I'm about 60% completed in building my bike, I'm doing some of the work, having a buddy help and complete other things such as electrical!
After pricing out the bag lock kit and the ignition, fork lock kit, I'm $1400 just for the parts, It's not worth it IMO!
A buddy of mine has a 2012 CVO street Glide that is on the lift 2 bikes over from me, for a radio, and front wheel upgrade, says mine is impressive, again, I like the CVO concept, and enjoy seeing these great machines.
