PM Jim (hd-dude)...he's a dealer and can have it drop shipped to your door.

Mobil I Vtwin is available at some Advanced Auto type stores.  Either are great products.
Or you can become a preferred customer and get their products at the same price their dealers pay plus shipping.

The affidavit on page 26 of the study says "the test results reported in the document entitled 'A Study of Motorcycle Specific Oils' prepared for the AMSOIL Power Sports Group in March of 2006 are correct."
To me, that indicates AMSOIL contracted for and paid a company to conduct the study.  That leaves me and everyone else who read that document to draw our own conclusions about it.  I didn't need to read this study, as it is an ex post facto insignificance to my decision to use their products.  My point is, in the end, AMSOIL is tooting their own horn.  See for yourself @  http://www.amsoil.com/lit/g2156.pdf
That explains it then. Like you I had decided to use Amsoil before reading this, and will continue using it after reading. It's better then Syn3 hands down.

I read all that too, Henry, and a few months ago as well.  Plus had an aquaintance who was an engineer for Mobil I and provided me a history of the development of the VTWIN they offer...of course, he tooted the Mobil I product, and it was developed specifically for HD engines...but, he was also an honest man, and said Amsoil was also an excellent product and woud not hesitate in using it either.  So, even if Amsoil is tooting their horn, I don't think they are misleading anyone.

I concur Fired00d. With these kind of results I would be tooting my own horn too [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Mobil is right there on top and in some cases beat out amzoil on a given test or two. So both seem to be a great oil. I have used amzoil for 18 years know in all my bikes, cars, small engine and construction equipment and never a failure.

I know HD-Dude is a Amzoil dealer on this site so pm him if you need product.

I've located a supplier who sells Amsoil MCV (12 qt case) for $87.25, maybe less, to your door.

I know that. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]  They're a good company, but marketing is marketing, and after having that crap rammed down my throat during my undergraduate program and several times in graduate school...........it rubs my fur in the wrong direction.  I'd rather listen to fingernails being drug across a blackboard.

OH CHIT!  Now all you guys know how to get on my nerves.  "Lets bombard Henry with marketing and watch him PING!!!!"

Exactly why I use Amsoil in all three holes.  It's always worked for me.  I like the Mobil-1 as well but it is next to impossible to get it here in Canada.
