FLTRUSE values?
« on: February 15, 2014, 03:50:57 PM »

I'm considering picking up an '11 FLTRUSE, now that they seem to be entering my price range. Can y'all help me with the real market value they're selling for these days? Looking at a Rio Red with low miles but some chrome peeling ($28K sticker) and a charcoal with 20K miles but looks to be in better overall condition ($30K sticker). Both dealerships have indicated they're willing to haggle, I'd like to arm myself with some knowledges.

A member on here just recently sold his immaculate charcoal with about 3700 miles on it I think. He got 28ish for it if I recall correctly. I would think high 20's would be max. 30? sorry to say as I own one, but I don't think so. I'd love mine to maintain that kind of value though.

I would start low on my offer, you can always go up but you cannot go down.  Try them in the 24k range and go from there.

I am not sure about the fair market value but what I am sure about is being an owner of one and having put 25,000 mi on it......it's a BADAZZ motorcycle!!! Good luck on the negotiations.

I had a feeling $30K was ambitious, esp for a bike with 20K miles. But you know how it is with dealerships; a lot of them get that "it's a CVO, somebody will give us what we're asking" attitude. I'm thinking $26K or $27K is fair for that mileage.

I bought my 06 in 09 for $16,000.00 and they threw in a one year extended warranty. In was in a larger market place though Atlanta Georgia. Don't let them convience you that finding clean CVO is like finding a needle in a hay stack or a snipe it's not. They are just about in most dealers all over the country.

Good luck.

I have a black quartz. It's one of about 384 made world wide. Don't know about other colors. I would not less dollars for mine with 1900 miles. I also have a 08 ultra classic . The CVO ULTRA is not mfg any more as the 2011 were the last made. It's an awesome highway machine. I would not sell mine for  one day it will be worth much more than the $36,000.00 it cost new. There has already been several totaled.

Retail from a dealer, excellent condition, about $26k per both KBB and NADA.  Trade in value about $20k-21k.
