I had a very fond memory of London, because the exchange rate was $1.01 / "£".   I was buying things like a drunken sailor.

I tried to buy a Jaguar, but very complicated for an impulsive moment. I ended up flying to Sweden and bought a Saab.

You pay $35k for a bike over there it's still £35k over here so were paying for the same bike up to $40/42k(not an exact cost didn't work it out to the cent) but it's more.

Why is it the rear tire always gets the nail?

It is not that I want a front tire flat, they are much harder to control.

The front tire kicks up the debris, the rear catches it
And stop buying drunken sailors   

Although I've installed many plugs in rear motorcycle tires without any resulting incidents, I've also had a couple plug patched from the inside.   There are limitations due to location, angle or size of the offending puncture, but if one does not trust string or mushroom plugs for the duration, professionally installed plug patches offer a safe and cheaper alternative to tire replacement. Most folks here carry a plug and inflation kit, although some carry just to get them to a repair/replacement facility without the necessity of a tow.
