Am I the only person that still has this issue with my CB transmissions?
Did I miss a thread with a resolution?   [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
This thread has been dead for some time but the group I ride with still complain that I'm garbled & blowing their ears off whenever I transmit, sounds like I'm over-modulated.

Apparently none of the 07's had this problem?

There's still a problem with the UK ones, which HK thought would have been fixed with the last firmware release.  Dunno if it's any different on 07s - (Yes, I have an 07 but we won't have the weather for me to use it for a couple of months!) - but the symptom on the 06s with the last firmware upgrade was just as you describe. At long last I could hear other (pre-HK) bikes, but they couldn't make out what I was saying, as I was too loud and distorted.

What Version Software are you running? It should be 8.11 if not go to the HD web site and find the radio and get the instructions on How to download and burn the upgrade. It will also Tell you how to find what your current version is. If you have the current load then you need to get with your dealer for a radio replacement.

See the attached File for Complete info

Did that upgrade back in September, no noticeable difference in CB transmission quality...  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
