I tried the high contrast mode for the first time the other day. never really needed it.

Owner RK, then '11 RG CVO now '16 RG CVO, dash on RG is WAAAY further away from the face, so I assume the sunlight is not an issue on SG, but def is on RG. Contrast mode is only way to see screen on bright sun.

NEVER used POS Garmin that came with 11 RG CVO as there was NOOO way to see tiny screen in even low sunlight.
