That's correct Charlie. I'm not thrilled with it on the WG and it doesn't appear to be louder than the SERK horn. So the SERK horn stays. Since I needed a horn on the WG, it'll do for now. But I think I'll eventually replace it with a SERK horn on that bike too. Hoist! 8)

Isn't Your SERK horn the same as my Ultra Horn (as in Part Number) :)

Thanks Howie.  That's interesting that you think the SERK horn is louder then the Stebel.  I think it is the same horn as on the SEUC, at least I think it is for '07.  Would be interested to know if maybe they put the upgraded horn on the SE's this year.  :nixweiss:

I'd be interested in knowing what the P/N is for the '07's. Mines is P/N 69060-90D. I'm sure the MoCo with there dedication to quality assurance would have a difference in quality (sound) in the same P/N. :shocked2:

According to my manual the P/N is indeed 69060-90D HORN ASSEMBLY, w/7495

Nah, the MoCo is consistent in all their quality control issues.   :huepfenlol2:  I'll have to see if I can find out what the part number is for the horn on 07's.  I don't have the parts manual yet, so I don't have a quick reference to go to.

Same as mine I just didn't add the "w/7495" as that is the nut behind the horn. Note: That is not intended to mean the nut pushing the horn button. :D

When I read this post on the most recent post(s) page I just knew it was going to be something funny. Knowing some of your past posts I was expecting to see something duct taped to you or your bike. ;)

Same horn on the SERK as yours. The Strebel's not really noticablly louder, but a different pitch. You know, that annoying high pitch sounding horn. Maybe decibel wise it's louder. but since the pitches are so different, you can't compare them easily. Anyway, you get what you pay for. A cheap horn is a cheap horn, I guess! ;) Hoist! 8)
