Just bought a LePera LK-007 Bare Bones solo seat with the gel insert and custom stitching for my 105th Springer and was wondering if anybody else is using one, how does if feel, how long of a ride before your a$$ gets numb, are you happy with it, etc.? Thanks for any feedback.

I have over 30,000 miles.

In the beginning I would get a back ache, shoulder ache, butt ache in just a few miles down the road.

Blamed the rear pockets on my carharts for the butt ache.

Decided to change the level of the handlebars to see if there was a difference.  The fifth position, which was the 3 position seemed best.  I have since rode over 20,000 miles in this position, no more back ache, shoulder ache, butt ache.

Who says the position it was delivered to you is best ?

Bye the way, anyone want to sell their stock 07 seat ?

My stock 07 Seat is also showing signs of wear after over 42000 km,  so I may be in the market sooner or later for a stock seat!

Are you referring to the position of the handlebars or the position setting on the rear shocks?

A stock '08 FXSTC seat will fit right on and we've found it very comfortable.
