I can hear the butt cheeks squeaking from up here  :huepfenlol2:

What is the sound of butt cheek that triggers such emotion my friend? Maybe next time less bar, huh?

We went to Walmart

No Vtwin mobile 1.

Called AJ from Walmart.

Get this now, AJ said, "Did you go to the motorcycle department in the Walmart?"

Motorcycle Department at Walmart?, What tha hell are you talking about?

"He said, Our Walmart has a motorcycle department, go check there."

I asked "Mike" the helpful Walmart associate, "Do you have a motorcycle department here"

His answer, "No sir, are you kidding with me?"

Off to AutoZone.
To get that price break I bought 24 quarts.
Thanks Talon and Scott!

:nixweiss: motorcycle department at Walmart :nixweiss:
               Your killin me AJ.

MAJOR DP spew!
I just saw this.
The funny thing is that I didn't believe Linda when she said that Walmart didn't have any the other night so I went there myself this afternoon. I actually was on the phone w/ Chief while looking and he said "what are you doing checking for oil for Chip?"
Low and behold they did not have it. Although our Wallyworld (where all good things come from) has a motorcycle aisle and not a "department" per se, they no longer seem to stock the V Twin oil.

So, I believe I will be allowed to go shopping and do the research going forward ~ with a sense of confidence from you know who...........   ;D

Sometimes.........some stores in some areas..........carry different items.....it's true.

Case In Point:
I have decided to start using K&N oil filters.  Went on the K&N website and found that Auto Zone carries K&N products.  I thought I would stop in an Auto Zone store near my office to see if, by chance, they had the K&N oil filter to fit my bike.  They didn't have it, but they looked on their computer and found that another Auto Zone store across town does stock the K&N oil filter that will fit my bike......go figure.  Not interested in making the trek all the way across town, so will check a couple of the small bike shops here on the south side.

I'm glad someone has stepped up to the plate and will carry the banner of research and discovery.
Linda, you are good for him! Next time I ask his advice I will PM you so accurate and prompt research can be done before he gives his answer.
AJ, we love you buddy!
See you at CHL
Just don't forget the "cremebrulee".

I buy Mobile 1 for my diesel here: http://www.avlube.com/

I buy Redline for my bike here: www.myoilshop.com

FYI my truck requires 12 quarts of engine oil, ironically, it was cheaper by the quart than in the gallon jug.
