I have a buddy in upsate New York who hit a deer last year at about 8:45pm.. he bought a full face helmet after that.

The new helmet came in handy when he it a deer this year at about 9:10pm!

Both times he has totaled his bikes.

I have advised him that these things come in threes!

Deer...what is the chance?OK someone look it up...

I would say the chances are pretty good. I use to ask the same question till "V" and I hit a deer in the middle of the day!!!!

Glad your friend is going to be OK.

Be Safe

The deer population up here is growing out of control. Not enough hunters to fill the tags  :rifle: Your chance of getting taken out by a deer up here is pretty good at the right(or wrong) time of day.

I've never hit a deer on a bike but have done it in a cage & that was damage enough. Good to see he's going to be OK. THE MUFFMAN

We have a major deer issue in NJ and the irony is that I can not find a place to hunt legally, more than 95% posted private lands.  Actually, I would greatly appreciate if anyone has a place that I can hunt.  I do mostly archery and some rifle.   :jack:
