You couldn't pay me to put a fugly 2 into 1 on my bike, let alone install a fake pipe just for cosmetic purposes. My Rineharts suit me fine ... great sound and power in my book.

I agree, had the 2-1 Bassanni on my last bagger, it was good on performance, but couldn't  talk to the passenger on the highway.  The Rineharts perform just as well according to the seat of my pants, have plenty of "bark" when I get on em, but have some "class" when I am in town or trying be more civil. [smiley=banana.gif]

I agree that the individual pipes look better and usually sound better.  Performance, however, should be slightly better with the 2-1.

I couldn't get a rise out of anyone with my last post on this subject, so I'll pass along another photo.  This is Michael Waltrip at Daytona testing the aerodynamics of his car.  Note the exhaust system - headers into a crossover into boom tubes.  Sorta like a 2 into 1 into 2?
