I bought a boat and a car and left them in Maine before I drove back to Dago so I'd have transportation and toys to play with next year. As noted elsewhere, I am down for a new 09 SERG from an H-D dealer in Maine. Anyway, my question is this. The car I bought is a 97 Caddy Deville. Florida car with no rust, perfect leather interior, everything works. Very solid car for $2k. The only issue with it that I can see is the valve covers are starting to leak. Given that this is a Northstar V-8, is that a big deal to change ? I mean in the old days with carbs, you just pulled the plug wires, a couple hoses and changed them out yourself, but the top of this motor is completely shrouded and it's got a really low profile. Looks like the valve covers are buried under the EFI rails and a bunch of other stuff. Any advice so I can save a few $$ and do this myself ?
