JR sent you a PM about you scoot just wondering if you got it fixed or not.  All I have to do is just read a little more and I found out.

Glad it was an easy fix.  But if the dealer had done the service properly
you would not have had any trouble. I just hate it when they do that.
I would make it well known to the owner of the dealership that I was
not happy with that service.

I sure am glad your bike is fixed. Let's go riding!!!!!

More than likely it was not just the filter but the fuel line inside the tank as well. The filter comes with a new line as they most often wear holes in them from vibrating inside the tank. I wouls saw that about 80% of the filters that at change at the 25k mark also have holes in the fuel line which decreases the fuel pressure at the injectors. This decrease in pressure will throw the whole map off, especially at upper rpms.

Had that problem with Nancy's bike on the trip to Milwaukee.

Change the hose and all was well!

After talking to JR on Saturday I decided to replace my fuel filter also.  Had one in the drawer just waiting but hadn't found time or motivation to do it.  So after returning from road trip yesterday I changed it out.  Took it for a test ride and sure seemed stronger - maybe that's because I was solo and just came from 1k road trip two up.  But no matter what it is done at the 43.5k mark so I should be good to go for a while.

Just noticed the catch-up on this.  Hated that there was trouble on the ride home but glad the filter or line is all it was.  We chatted about this on the parking lot and it sure seemed the most likely problem.  Still sucks to have to fight one to get it home though.  Glad it's running great again JR.

I replaced the filter kit in the SEEG at 30k just on general principles.  The SERG's next oil change will be at its 25k mark.  But given it's greater age am probably going to do it then just to be sure.  You can't avoid everything.  But it's nice to avoid what we can.
