WaaaaHoooo!

For those of you at MV that were trying to diagnose what was wrong with my Lil Nana I want to thank you!
I was experiencing a cutout when getting near full throttle. I had no codes. Just picked up my scooter before I left for MV having it's 30,000 service. Was getting off an exit in Chattanooga to get fuel and went to open it up and it fell on it's face like I was running out of fuel. My first thought was I was low on fuel but it only took 3.5 gallons. It ran good until I just about gave it full throttle.
With the gas situation the way it was I was wondering if I got some bad fuel. Made our way into MV and it wasn't that bad. As I was riding in the next couple of days I noticed it was more noticeable being in the mountains and trying to keep up with the gang. I was getting frustrated as it would stumble up the mountains.
The night before I was coming home so many were offering their help. Tried 2 different sets of plugs and still would do it. Bubba trailered his Ultra and offered to let me ride his home and he would trailer mine. I thought once I got out of the mountains I would be alright.
We left out that morning and it was getting worse! I got to the other side of Knoxville and had enough. I called Bubba and he was 10 minutes behind us. He came to the rescue and I was able to get my nana to the house and enjoyed riding Bubba's sweet ride. Man, I owe ya big time bubba!

When we stopped to eat Bubba said he would bet it's the fuel filter. I agreed, I work on Caterpillar equipment and they will do the same thing. Called the dealer Monday and was seeing when I could get it in. They said the 10th of Oct. I told them I would do it myself since that wouldn't be covered under warranty anyway. I asked them when is the filter due for service. They told me 40-50,000 mile. I thought that didn't seem right.
Picked up parts and got to the house, I was looking what was involved in replacing the filter and saw that it should be replaced at 25,000 service. I pulled up my service records and of course it wasn't replaced! I called the dealer and told them if they would have replaced it at the time of service it called for I wouldn't of had that problem on my trip! They were going to install it since I already paid for that service. They agreed to do it. That way if it was something else, warranty should cover it!
Got it back yesterday....man, it runs like a scalded ape!!!

I also noticed no pinging.
Just wanted to pass it on to those that were interested and say Thanks! I love this place and love ya'll! God Bless!
