One of my favorite sites is WWW.PASHNIT.COM although its mainly calif trip reports it will include other states also. What the guy has done in ride all the roads throughout the state, state parks, mountain roads etc. Hes done almost the entire state! Each ride will have pics maps and description. This site has become popular worldwide for riders coming to ca. These are sport bike riders but we all have our hangups. If im looking for weekend trip i ck out the site and hit the road. It would be great if you riders from some other states did a similar site for resident and visiting riders. The site is supported by viewer donations via pay pal ck it you will be amazed- VAN G

I agree, Pashnit.com is a great site. I enjoy the pictures and ride stories and even the videos. Can you imagine the hard drive size the owner is having to maintain for that site. WOW....

Actually even though we allow a lot of pictures & reasonably control the size of the images, we also compress everything that we store.  We are about 50gb right now.  Bandwidth is the bigger issue, we use a lot of bandwidth.  Big $$/month

Sklywag has made it possible to make one of the ride reviews from Pashnit available for the Nor Cal, San Juan Bautista GTG.

I thought I'd post it here so the members of this forum can see what they might expect over on Pashnit..........  http://www.pashnit.com/roads/cal/Highway25.htm

JC-At the end of 25 you can make a right on 198 and get to Joeland Rd. A cool ride thru Fort hunterliggit  Then take a road up over the mountain  the road ends putting you on highway 1 , 30 miles south of Big Sur   North on 1 back to san jaun. Hell I,m ready to do a practice Ride---Ak

I started to say Andy can't get us lost on that road......there aren't any turn offs.  But maybe I shouldn't say that. :nixweiss:  Andy's got a reputation to live up to.  :2vrolijk_21:
