I have about two weeks to make a choice.

My dilema is the guy that is doing my work will put on anything I want but he personally dose not like the tts, told me there was too many failures. He reccomended PC-V, Super Sert, and a tuner from Technotronics. Is it better to have a tuner that works in unison with the ECM? Or dose any of this matter. The S SERT is about 200.00 more than the rest of the tuners. Keep in mind I know how to ride the bike, "BUT" I'm clueless how and why alot of tuners are different , and what makes them work.........................................Fuzz :nixweiss:

Nice meeting you and your wife the other day at Yuengling, I had a good time.

I would not count out the TTS system, the designer of TTS had a lot of success with the SERT.
From my experience with tuners reliability has not been the biggest concern, at least no more than an ECM failure.
The shop usually picks the one that they are most familiar and feel that they understand the most.
TTS has not been around as long because of contracts with the MOCO that no longer exist.
But they have had a lot of experience and research data avail to them through MOCO.

I am not saying to absolutely go to the TTS system, the SESRT may be a good choice if Warranty issues are at hand. Might have this discussion with your dealer ahead of time if they are supportive.

Now I know I will get the posts saying that the warranty is voided with any tuner put on, but that is not totally true.
Working with a good supportive dealer can get you past that hurdle.

Just purchased the TTS and upgraded my ECM.  Very user friendly and the MAPs provided by TTS and Steve George (FULLSAC) greatly improved the performance of my SERK4.  Ultimately I wound up using the MAP provided with the TTS for 08-09 touring with A/C and exhaust mods (MAP - UJ205-002).  Mods include Zipper's MaxFlow air cleaner and 2" FULLSAC baffles.  Bike pulls hard up to 6000 RPM and I have not experienced any deceleration popping.  Looking forward to playing with the VTune next.  Ultimately I will be getting the bike Dyno'd, but until then I feel confident the bike is not running lean and seems to be running cooler.  It took all of 15 minutes to hookup and reprogram the ECM.
