Y'all are killing me!!  I am 3 days from picking mine up and going NUTS!!   :anxious:

I am SO stoked to get on 'er & RIDE! I am picking it up in Seattle on Friday, riding to Spokane on Saturday (300 miles), then to Pendleton OR on Sunday (200 miles). Then back to Seattle on Tuesday (300 miles). So with any luck, I'll have 800 miles on it within the first few days!  :bananarock:
Just sucks I gotta treat it like a lady while she breaks in...  :'(
But after that, she's gonna get rode like she deserves!  :pepper: :pimp:

Sorry Crusty, but you are in for an awesome weekend!

Crusty, respect the break in process and you'll be happy you did down the road. Have fun!

I guess my decision to trade in the Wide Glide was right after all.  Picked up the SERG on Jan 21 this year...already have 3300 miles on it  8)

Warning!! Do not go out and buy a new SE Ultra and ride it for two weeks while your SERG sits in the garage. :) :)

Now that's funny!
And true!

When I bought my SERG last Setember I was considering keeping my Fat Boy as a project bike. I did sell it and quickly forgot how the ride was after riding the SERG. This past weekend I had the chance to take a Fattie for a spin. It felt so tiny and light. I can't imagine going back now.

MD Dave, I was thinking about buying your bike, but your post talked me out of it.  Hahahahaha!!  Welcome to the SERG world, it's better in here.

Well, something happened that I never expected.  I have been riding a Night Rod for two years now and have loved every second of it.  It is fast and loves the twisties.  I started taking longer trips so I thought maybe I should get a touring bike.  After all the research, here and elsewhere, I decided on the SERG.  I figured I would use the SERG just for longer trips and keep the Night Rod around to run around town and commute to work, 18 miles.  Of course after getting the SERG the Night Rod just sat in the garage as my co-workers wanted to see the new bike, etc.  I have only put about 300 miles on the SERG now.  Today I decided to ride the Night Rod into work and the strangest thing happened.  I did not like it.  It felt so tiny but clumsy at low speeds.  I felt like I was all scrunched up on it.  I can not believe that the ride that I loved could be destroyed so quickly by the SERG.

Bottom line - if you are on the fence about buying a SERG, do it!

Anyone want to buy a Night Rod?   :P
