I still haven't seen anything to make me want to spend $140 on an item that gives me info about something I usually couldn't do anything about anyway. These things will only run so cool and that's it. You know I watched the show on TV about the R&D on the V-rods. Those things were put through extensive testing before they were released. I have to believe these 110's were put to the temp tests out in Arizona as well, They would not have put these out knowing they would burn up. Would they? Boy that Kool Aid was good. Hold on, I'll be right back I have to have another glass. I am not really worried anyway. If it burns up, I have the 7 year warranty and if that doesn't work then maybe Obama Klaus will give me another for Christmas. T

way differant than the early ones with the 07 part number

How does it differ, Doc?   I'm using the 07 part # one in my 09 and it seems fine (15000 miles on it in my 07).  I was wondering what the difference between the two is....

Not only does mine pop out on high speed runs it only worked for a few months now just a expensive dipstick that I have to pull out to read.. what a bummer

I have the one that does not measure the oil level - just temp...

again, have not had issues with mine - but my motor is stock, just exhaust and AC...

I had 2 of them, junk in my opinion. Go buy the Oil Temp gauge that goes in the Dash. It will replace your ambient temperature gauge which is a waste. It will look good and be pretty accurate, unless you drive the bike through a puddle when it's raining.

Had the plug in one with LED on my 03 RG and only problem I had, was the glue that holds the chrome top on loosened. Gorilla glue fixed that. Have a new screw in one for my 09 and it appears to be working fine. Like the oil fill line too. Hope that holds to be accurate.

Friend of mine had one in his road king, thing never did work right.  Readings were almost always wrong and that was when it actually worked when the button was pushed.  This one was purchased a couple of years ago, maybe they are better now.

Zanoti removed em from their website.  I emailed and their response was too many returns for failure.

The dip stick is now one peice, will not seperate, like the 07 part, This one I have is more accurate than the 07 part, reads the same and looks the same as the 07 untill you look at the dipstick, that is were it changes.   Doc

I thought my 07 one WAS one piece - I must check it out.  Where does it separate?  (Got 15000 miles on miine, no problems so far  :nervous:)

Your 07 dip stick is glued together in two peices where the screen is, thats were they come apart sometimes.   Doc
