I came back from a week's trip with a duffle bag strapped to my tour pak's luggage rack.  I must have had it strapped down plenty tight because somehwere along the way the bag touched the tour pak lid in a couple places and the vibration dulled the clear coat in those places.  (I polished the spots out no problem.)  I was thinking of putting something down on the tour pak lid next time to protect it.  The bra is one answer, but it seems like a hassle to put on and off.  Or is it??

From the looks of the picture I don't think you can use the bra/cover with a luggage rack. I don't see any holes for it to fit thru, or it to slide past the mounts of the luggage rack.  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

If you have the King Tour Pack Premium Luggage Rack, the also make a bag that has a hard bottom that's made specifically for that luggage rack and you'll not have anything rub the clear coat.  It's only $100 and is real convient when you get where you're going for the evening, just unbuckle and walk in with it.

On that subject T-Bags http://www.t-bags.com makes several bags that will work nicely with that rack also. I personally have the Dekker Supreme and have had no problems with it. You do have to make sure you either cut the excess of the tie down straps or secure them by some other means (wire ties, etc).
