Back then when your iron head quite on a trip all I had to do is borrow Terry's nail file, fix the points and off you go. Now you have to call a tow truck. Any auto parts store had new ones available cause they were just Chevy 6's. Even the early EVO's were easily converted back to points when the ei's failed, which almost always happened. Yes the old days were good.
