Great concert with the Scorpions , yeah really rock , a very good life-band .
 The ipod does work with the new simple cable and is loud enough .
 The charging problem will be my next job , changing the polarity of the lighter will be the first step .

I had the same problem. You need to spin your finger clockwise on the nano front to turn volume up.

There is also in setting in settings that sets max volume. This setting could be set to low.
