VIPER
« on: November 20, 2005, 11:15:16 AM »

Just got back from the Love Ride in L.A. I highly reccommend it to those that can go next year. This monster was just cruising around looking for a Boss Hoss to race.

Where can we get one, anyway?

I've driven a couple of Ram SRT-10s.  They are stupid quick and that's a 5,000 lb. machine.  I can't imagine that motor, with juice for gawd's sake, in a 600 lb. (or so) frame. [smiley=shocked2.gif] [smiley=shocked2.gif] [smiley=shocked2.gif]

With that much torque you'd think he'd need some outriggers on that thing to keep it from flipping on is side during a hard rev [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

100 octane unleaded that I used to run in my sandrail is at a local Unocal 76 in Los Angeles for $5/ gal. That price was from over a year ago.  Probably much higher now.

Sure would be fun to try a V10 powered sled sometime tho.

$160K, 580HP, 630 FT LBS and a 2-speed automatic transmission with reverse. Sounds like a bargain to me  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Of course doubt there will be many at the next Viper rally huh ?
