Not only a little chrome. I know 2 guys bidding for
LU 1 and it ended with 100 000.- Swiss Francs.
At that time around 85000 $.

There are really difference in culture and societies,
we (ICE6900 and me) don't really have to understand.
Sometimes they judge you by your plate-number, high
you're foreign, low=native and rich!!! Crazy  :P

Very interesting. I have a plate I would not mind transfering or selling.  Here in Michigan they came out with College License plates and each plate has a small fee that is paid and helps to raise money for the school.  I went to Michigan State and yes graduated.  Well they released that plate and I was able to use some letters to spell it out using the Green S.  I always wonder if anyone wanted it.... ya know for a fee.

You bid on Licence Plate numbers? ??? :o :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

Hoist! :coolblue:

We do it here in the UK too!  I have two that I bought at auction, B1SET (around $2100 in November 91) and B15SET (around $9300 in April 98) (My name is BISSET)

Don't have either on my bikes though - we have to have the registration on two lines, not allowed 1 or 3 - and they would have the effect spoiled as:

 B1
SET

&

B15
SET
