What is so special about a low #.
What would you rather have? in Zurich Kanton alone the bike reg numbers are now 6digit long so 3 or 4 digit numbers are much prefered but not every bodies cup of tee to pay extra for them.
This quote also applies to Switzerland where the reg numbers can be handed down through the generations, the numbers are assigned to the owner rather than the vehicle, so if you trade-in then you keep the number for your next vehicle,
"Since the first registrations were issued around the turn of the century, low number plates have historically been viewed as a status symbol reserved for the well connected."its also possible to have two motorcycles or two cars owned with the same reg plate, which you physically have to interchange from one vehicle to the other all the time, this can give a good saving with insurance as you can only ride/drive one vehicle at a time.
Our 4number bike plates are similar to this so you can imagine what a 6number looks like
