Those numbers look like fun. If anybody gets too old for these numbers, I'll be glad to ride the bike for you!!!  ;D

The Fat Cat I have is the big bore with Quiet baffle and after hearing it yesterday for the first time all I can say is HOLY :soapbox: that can't be the quiet baffle cause it is pretty damn loud! Maybe it's just a combination of the cams and mods but this thing sounds rippin' and it seems louder and much better sounding than it did stock with the VH Big Radius 2 into 2 pipes. I believe Hoist can relate as I remember he posted a while back that he has this pipe too. I think the Big Bore with quiet baffle is definitely louder than the standard Fat Cat with Quiet Baffle but I don't know that for sure? Still,  I am happy with the dyno numbers, and the torque curve looks good to me for a lighter bike like the Dyna. The true test will be when I can ride it for the first time after these mods and do the seat of the pants test. Thanks for everyones responses hope this weather in MD. breaks soon!    Ride On      :coolblue: Dave

True I guess.
Mine also has the quiet baffle and I feel there is some ponies hidden in there.
But it's nice to not have the loudest bike and to be able to hear the radio at 70 mph.
Damn, I think that means I'm getting old.

Yes, the factory pistons were used, motor was only at 4K miles at build. My builder recomended going with the 2 into 1 exhaust for best overall power gains, thats why I did away with the VH big radius 2/2 pipes I was using.  :coolblue:  Dave

We finally got some nice weather this week here in Maryland and I finally got a chance to ride it with the new mods. Wow, is all I can say about the before and after performance. I think I'm going to need to velcro my butt to the seat when I crack this thing now. :2vrolijk_21: There is a little more valve train noise with this Woods cam, but the trade off for this much more power is way worth it in my book. I can't notice the slight dip in torque below 3k rpms over the stock cams another reply mentioned I would be concerned about. I love the way this bike runs now! Thanks for everyone's advice and replies, love this site. Hope this weather is here to stay, what a long winter it seemed like this year. Ride On!   Dave :coolblue:
