First of all I'd like to thank everyone whose taken the time to help me with this question.  If I'm reading through the thread correctly it appears that the save and restore function in the TTS software will restore the original map from the hard drive of computer #2 even though the original map is not a file in Master Tune.  Have I got that right?  Sorry for being so thick.

I wish there was an icon of a little guy with a light bulb going off over his head.  I'd attach it.  Thanks for all the input.

Mr. Wizard informed me that this is because it is the intellectual property of the Mo Co. <snip>

ROFL...

You've got it now... Mother Harley won't let you open the *MTE file with Mastertune or any other program to view it... unless you work for TTS or SEST and have the super secret decoder ring that is.

Proprietary information.  :deal2:

FYI, the MTE file that is created by the latest version of MasterTune is not compatible with the original MasterTune version 1.0.0.  Make sure your systems both have the latest version of MasterTune installed by running the updater.  If you have done this, and the MTE still wont load using the save-restore window, then there may be a problem with the MTE file.

You cannot load a MTE file like a calibration file.  It can ONLY be loaded & accessed using the Save and Restore function when the bike is connected.

I did the Fullsac 1.75 baffles and installed Steve's map and the TTS tune.  I saved the factory map.  My question for those in the know is this:  The factory map is an MTE file which is not supported by the TTS software.  Mr. Wizard informed me that this is because it is the intellectual property of the Mo Co.
If someone had to reload the factory map into the ECM, how would you do it?
Are there any instructions for installing Fullsac's fuel map?

You would install his map like any of the other maps that come with the program, just the name is different.
