Next step in engine upgrade
« on: August 02, 2010, 08:42:12 PM »

I've already done the typical Stage I upgrades (new AC, exhaust, PCIII w/ map), but am unsure what the next best steps are to coax a little more juice out of my engine.  Any advice/tips from those with more smarts and experience is appreciated!

Fueling 574 cams with or without head work.............  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=44545.0

If you have the catalytic converter, get it removed.

What year bike? I see 05 SE Fatboy. And I see you used pc111. So if it's the 05 there are no cats and different choices for cams etc.

If 96" bore to 107".
Wood TW-408-44 cams
Heads that'll move about 270-275 cfm @ 28".
Perhaps a t/body.
GOOD tune.
Give gps's to riding friends, so they can find you!! :P

Oops missed the "2005" piece sounds like going to the big bore would be a good plan
