adjustable pushrod locknut split

s.e tapered  pushrod lock nut split,  is this a special lnut  as long as its grade 8? i think its 32 tpi? also

Just curious, why are you using adjustables Tim?

Did somebody cut your stock ones in half?

i did,  steve,  im using a woods 400-6  with the 107  with s.e. heads,  had to use adjustables  really quick bike now!!!!  with your x pipe and 2.0 slips,  always hunting s.e.;s  hee hee

i went to ace hardware store and got a 3/8 x 24 jam nut that fit and used red lock tight until i get a extra intake adj s.e. push rod  it was slightly bigger

Those rods are flexers when the right spring pressure is used for that cam.
I would consider Smiths, .120 tapered adjustables Chrome moly

i have a set a zippers adjustables also  but  u still need to remove rockers and boxes to intsall then also and their instructions and kinda different.

actually id really like to used a solid non adj. push rod, like s.e. perfect fit  but that will have to wait until my heads are done to figure out length

probably loss  of trq and hp  at higher rpms
