Some guy in another post on here says HD is holding up the kryponite ones (and maybe the other also ) because of "paint issues" . Whatever that means. You might check with your dealer.

I wash and wax mine once a year whether it needs it or not... I only see swirls when I wash it, but they are gone after a good ride... I think a good layer of bugs helps to protect the paint...    ;D

My dealer told me mine would be here 10/1 now he says November sometime.  He did everything but tell me its the paint.  By the way anyone know how many of each color they are building??  I have heard 900 all the way to 1500 :nixweiss: :nixweiss:
