Steve, I was wondering if you can use the stock pushrods with the andrews 54s, and also how does changing to the andrews 54s  or the woods 555 change  gas mileage at cruising speeds. I have your stage one kit right now and I am very happy with it, (no V tune yet) just TTS with your map, 1.75 baffles, non cat header, and open air cleaner in my 09SEUC. Thanks in advance. Here's the dyno test we all wanted to see. Woods 555-X Pipe-CVO 110 combo.

The Bike:
The Holy Grail. 2011 CVO Ultra. Burgundy and red with black flames. Very, very nice.

The parts list
Exhaust: Fullsac "B" X Pipe. 2.0 Fullsac Power cores.
Cams: Woods 555 installed with stock pushrods and Cometic .030 head gaskets.
AC: SE Ventilator. Now stock on 2011 CVO Ultra.
OEM computer was accessed and recalibrated with TTS Mastertune.
Thats it. Everything else is bone stock!

Dyno pulls:
Done 1 day apart. Same bike, same tank of gas, 5th gear.
Run 6: 82HP-97 TQ. Stock off the showroom floor.
Run 31: 107 HP- 112 TQ. 25 HP gain with parts listed installed and dyno tuned.

Bottom line:
The new Woods 555-X Pipe combo produced a very smooth and broad TQ curve. I've dynoed several 54s in 110s.
The 555s have virtually identical bottom end as the Andrews 54, crossing 100 TQ at 2500, but with a much longer
top end pull. If you like chasing numbers and don't mind spending a few bucks more for cams, these 555s are the hot ticket.
Just for fun, I pulled the stock AC. Made 109 HP and 115 TQ! Almost the magic 1 HP per cube.

Special thanks to Las Vegas local Gus Reifenrath for riding with a Fullsac!  :2vrolijk_21:

Stock pushrods can be used with Andrews 54 and Woods 555 cams. My personal experience is fuel milage is unchanged or slightly
improved at the same speeds. Riding speed has everything to do with milage. A stock bike struggles to maintain speed up hills fully loaded.
Most people wouldn't hold it wide open, but choose to downshift and ride at half throttle or so. With 110 FT pounds of TQ you can set cruise
and power over the hills at 75 MPH. Riding faster sucks more gas. How you choose to use your increased power will have the greater effect on milage.

Steve

Do you have a dyno sheet comparing your Andrew 54 set up to your newer Wood 555 set up? Interested in the results.

Nothing back to back in the same bike.
The Woods definitely have more top end. Things are pretty close on the bottom end.

Great reading here, expecting my SERG in about a month and will be looking at upgrading the engine. What is the V tune you all keep talking about? My last bike had the TTS, is the V tune an additional part or???

thanks!!

Just ordered the Xpipe and TTS from Steve to mate up with the 2" baffles I installed last year.  I'm already looking forward to getting the 555 cams for next winter's project!
