I like the fact they barely stick out ... & I'm only 5'8" = a good reach for me ...

They are mounted to the top of the crash bars right next to the Top Crash Bar Mounts ...

I've had the "Switchblade's" on my CVO for about 8 months. Extremely well constructed and much heavier in quality than what I imagined. The will flip up when yo go around a corner. Just move them with your toe... then put them back down when you are on the flats. Look great with lots of compliments. But the best part... you can stretch your legs out when you want! I highly recommend them!  :orange:

Just take your time with the rubber things that give you the cushion to your floorboards. Use lots of soap to make them slippery and then use the "blue" thread locker to keep the bolts in place. If you figure out what the tiny little, itty bitty screws are for.... let me know. Guaranteed you will love them!  :orange:
