Anyone have a decent lock system for their seat.
I see one called a Gordon Lockdown that looks good. Anyone ever use this or if you have any ideas let me know.
Alligator seat came in and I can see someone wanting to claim it for their own.
Thanks

Rob

We are in production for a new SeatSecure for Solo Seats - whether they attach with a single or double bolt system. No prices yet as we don't know the product costs yet but at least you can check out the pictures.

On Mustang seat on Road King Classic:

Without luggage rack (luggage rack and pillion can be added with SeatSecure on bike)

And from a little further away...

While it looks simple, there are actually 7 pieces to each nut/knob/stud... And hopefully you can picture what it would like on a Danny Gray or C&C seat that only has the single bolt. We have it out with a tester on a Danny Gray seat who is getting some pictures to us this week.

We also have our Harley Fender Security Screw that attaches your double seat, pillion, or luggage rack. This is polished Stainless Steel And coordinates with our new SeatSecure product.

Why are they so tall?  Does that serve a purpose?   :nixweiss:

How tall does it look to be? Just curious...  Don't forget, the bolt it is covering up / attaching to / securing sticks up 1/2 inch.

You know those bolts can be removed don't you?

Are you referring to the bolts that come through the fender to attach the solo seats?

By the way, they are 1 1/6" tall without the pillion or luggage rack attached. That includes the product, washer shown and security screw.

Not sure why you'd take them off, but we simply produce products that are requested by our customers to secure their accessories. In this case - the solo seats. Our products won't be for everyone, but they're available for those who want them.

RD - Yes, you can buy security torq's fairly easily, but who walks around rally's with every conceivable security tool?  The stockers can be undone with your fingers or a coin, which everyone carries so the only purpose is to make things a little tougher as a deterent. That said, there are other less common security screws out there as well.

FYI, Brukus will also be producing a proprietary screw in the future.

Got one last night. Quick response to my e-mail too. Buy from this link and not fleebay as it is a few $$$ less.

I agree it is not foolproof but it is better than the Phillips screw that a nail clipper can remove.

Does anyone know if a Allen hole plug/chrome cap will fit on top of this screw? It might look better covered up.

I was just reading old threads and saw this. We now carry Chromed, Black Gloss and Black Satin caps for our Fender Security Screws!
