Now I would like to think I am fair about this, with literally 50 years of looking at Harleys, leaning on 60 myself....
I looked at all three of the links, and it just looks dated and....... then.....    snore...

After the 2011.5 Big Blue, the new 2012 models just look boring to me...  I suppose if you are an accountant or something..  . Seems to me you would have to be extremely conservative to like the plain look of the 2012..     But then what the heck, I am am playing Cowboy for fun, 150 years too late for the Old West of America, living out on the Last Frontier in Australia: What could I possibly know???         heh he....

Everyone hoped not to see the flame graphics of the 2010's & 2011's on the 2012's. They got it! I think these  2012's could be on the showroom floors for a long time. These colors as Cowboy says are  "boring". Just might be a recall to repaint all SEUC7's. I'm happy with my decision to pull the trigger on the SEUC6 "red".

Sounds like you have the itch, AJ.  $.02:  Pick your favorite color and go for it!!  I doubt very much that you will regret it.

Your Red is an awesome color as well. I'm guilty of just learning about the CVO lineup in 2011 and it was the right year for me. But the 2010's are excellent as well. A cycle of boredom followed with great expectations...my .02.

AJ...not being a big fan of the whole flame thing, I think the 2012's are tasteful and classic looking.  The paint will be 100 times better in person than the crappy HD photos, and I'll bet that orange really pops in the sunlight.  But, you have to budget another 1K for the Fullsac stuff...makes a big difference.

I agree with TC. I'm not a fan of flames. To me the 2012's are "safe and conservative". They will look 100 times better in person. Thats why I have a 09 SEUC, I saw one in person.

I saw the orange and black cvo ultra 7 at my dealer yesterday,nice color but the cfo/bsr wants the sapphire and stardust ,trying to find out when these are comming in.My dealer told me they have no ideal when it will arrive and also told me there is someone in front of me for that color choice .the other person's wife likes the orange and black but he want's the sapphire and stardust,hopping the wife gets what she wants so that would leave me the sapphire and stardust
