highly unlikely - why should a tyre split on a Road Glide only?

But it's amazing that the Road Glides since last year seem to show such phenomenons as "slow speed wobble" and "split tyres" fairly exclusively  :nixweiss:
I have read of wobble problems in bat wing faired bikes also as well as an acquaintenance who has a Gold Wing.  He showed be a Gold Wing enthusiasts website that had numerous posts about the 'death' wobble problem.  So I don't think it is exclusive to Road Glides or even to Harleys.  And I haven't had any issues with wobbles on my Glide.  Did have the fall away checked and adjusted at about 10k but heck I did that on my ultra also.  Just part of maintenance and adjustment after initial wear in period.

No, not "exclusive" but certainly, by and far, the large majority have been on Road Glides.....at least on this forum.  Very few have been batwings in comparison to all the Road Glides.

So with the problems with these Dunlop D408F and D407 are there any other manufacturers offering tires in these sizes for the CVO Road Glides?

Had the same problem on my '11 CVO Street Glide. Tire split along the sidewall at 7500 mi. Dealer replaced it under warranty. They wouldn't admit it but I suspect they knew what to look for and caught it while doing a service. I'm glad they did but would like to change them out to a set of Metzlers.
