Great pictures.  That ride is on my wish list, bucket list, whatever you want to call it?  Long ways away from Michigan though.  Maybe have to have bikes transported to Colorado Springs and fly in to maximize scenic ride time?

Got something in the way, JOB! I would have to fly and rent a bike, but I would have a hard time leaving mine at home!  I would gladly ship, but transport companies will not guarantee delivery date, plus they would want your bike 3 weeks before, and 3 weeks after to get it back.  Michigan summers are too short.  Have to live vicariously through my western state brothers and their pictures

Chuck,

Awesome pics. It rained a lot when I was in Zion this last October. Couldn't get pics. It's hard to capture the reality and awesomeness of landscapes of the size in Zion. For instance the tunnel is over a mile long. (Hard to capture that on film) Great job because Zion is gorgeous as are your pics.

A hint I heard when taking pics in the cold is to leave your camera locked in your saddlebag instead of taking it to the warm indoors which causes the lens to fog internally.
To wrap it and let it warm slowly? Or vice versa warm to cold? Anybody else hear of this happening?

Or use that anti-fog stuff that you bought at the IMS show, to keep from fogging up your lens.  That's what I've been using the past few weeks. :2vrolijk_21:

Chuck,

Great pictures, as I was looking through them I saw many of the same shots we took while we were out west this past may.   Those are some great rides, in addition to those we also rode up to Jacobs Lake, Monument Park Co., Canyon Lands, Moab, Dead Horse State Park, Navajo Bridge, and Mexican Hat.

The only regret is not taking near enough photos and not staying overnight to go to the waterfalls in Zion.
