1800+ miles of trouble free (and beautiful) riding across some of the most lonely and beautiful roads in America...  I'm too lazy to post pix 1 at a time but if you are interested here's some of the photos...

Oh, and the Gerbing Gear came in Handy.  Many mornings I left and temp in the teens but I was as snug as a bug in a rug. Great gear for cold weather riding.

 For the last week I have been planning those same roads for June-July 2012. Your pictures have my desire peaked!
We are looking at adding the Grand Canyon and maybe Colorado, Million Dollar Highway to the loop.

Dirtman...  it' an art form for sure :)  Most of the time I ride I have a cheap point and shoot with a lanyard. I used my Canon 7D for all the Bryce shots as well as Zion. Most of the Zion shots were done while riding but it's pretty easy at 30MPH. It's a larger camera but for these shots I use my Nifty Fifty lens. Fixed 50MM lens and since I have to shoot 1 handed I keep it in auto focus. I suppose it's not the safest thing in the world to do but I'd have about 3 photos if I didn't shoot while riding. :)

Awesome pictures and looks like a great ride.

I will be flying out to Vegas on June 28, 2012 & renting a scoot and riding all through the Canyon Lands of Southern Utah, flying home July 7.  Thanks for the appertizer!!!
