Not sure how "free" it is MJZ, since it's probably part of their doc fees, but if I'm gonna have to pay the doc fee anyway, might as well get a nice plaque out of it   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  And their doc fees are the same as all the others, so WTF...
You got that right. Definitely not a freebee someway or the other its paid for. Look at what they charge for prep and setup, and some have left the dealer w/scooter not full of oil. [smiley=oops.gif] >:(

I thought this was a nice touch by the dealer, Mobile Bay HD...it's a photo imprinted on a metal plate.  That's the USS Alabama in the background, which is docked permanently in Mobile Bay for visitors.

I think it's pretty kewl.... [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I received one when I purchased my VRSCSE '05 in Leesburg, FL...very nice touch....

Yeah, Dood....that's what one gets for ASS-U-MING....even when I got my 1k service done with oil I didn't want, they didn't top it all the way off...left it 1/3 qt low...different dealer.  Didn't matter, 'cause I drained all the chit out anyway and put what I wanted in there...it's full now... Those are some nice plaques. Wish I had gotten one, but OH, I forgot the Dealer that I dealt with, they don't give you anything, not even a percentage off parts or chrome, charge full price for everything, whatever you spend with them.

Sent them an email inquiring if they sold these plaques to the public. Also mentioned this website, and that there may be others that would be interested in purchasing them (hoping that someone would see an opportunity for more then just one sale), and would appreciate any consideration in allowing them to be available for public sale. Everybody keep your fingers crossed. :)

I got one of those when I purchased my current RG from Corpus Christi Harley-Davidson.  I have it in my office as a conversation piece.  I like that thing and it is a neat little thank you to get that from the Dealer.

Good going, Dood....I definitely think they could generate quite a few sales on here if they're interested in doing so.  It really is a nice peice of work, and something you'll have for the rest of your life, even after the bike is gone, just to remind you of the good times you spent on it. I have the same picture in front of the USS Alabama but not in a plaque...it was at the starting of the Posse Rally June last year.....

Update-
I never did get a reply back to my email from this company so I called them yesterday and spoke to a sales rep. and found out the following information

1. Yes these plaques are available to the public so those that are interested you will be able to get one.

2. You will have to supply artwork (picture of your bike) since they can't use the artwork (pictures like the ones above that dealers gave to owners). Seems they (dealers/MoCo) has rights on them (go figure). I forgot to ask if they would cut out the picture of your scooter and put it on generic background, as this makes a difference in the picture you want to send in. You wouldn't want anything in background that would distract from your scooter. Supplying my own artwork was a real plus to me because it would better resemble my bike now versus a stock SEEG.

3. I asked about a discount for the site, and was told to speak to the owner who wasn't there at the time (tried calling back today and he still wasn't in). I will try again on tomorrow to contact him.

FYI - Price w/o any discount would be under $70.00 delivered to your door for the wall plaques shown above.

More to follow as information becomes available.

Lets see, .... I got a pic of me with my Sportster on a calander from one dealer. (and a T-shirt)

Got the nice plaque like the ones above for buying a Heritage Softtail from another dealer. The Thank-u.com one. (and a T-shirt)

Bought the 06 SEUC this past December from yet another dealer and thus far have received nadda.  Did not even get a T-shirt the day I picked the bike up.

Not really looking for anything but,  it just goes to show how good customer relations are at some dealerships compared with others.
