UPDATED with pics and answers.
Hi guys/gals,

Got my tp quick detach hardware on.  Hate the license plate location.  I know there is a lot of info here about how to relocate it but nothing I have found that answers a couple specific questions I have about my 2011 CVO Ultra.

1.  The rigidly mounted red reflector under the ts bar:  Is it mounted with screws to the ts bar that would allow a stock kuryakin 3162 0r 3163 curved license plate frame to go on there?  (Took it off prior to before pic.)

Yes it is mounted with 2 bolts that allow a curved license plate to mount there.  I used Kuryakin part # 3163 from J&P (340-490) 72 bux with club membership.

2.  Looks like whatever I use will cover up the CVO Emblem on the fender, true?

Yes it covers half of it, but I don't care.  Looks good anyway.

Confirmed the light bar on the FLHTCUSE6 is same as 09 SG so removal of fixed red reflector also uncovered two mounting bosses with screw holes to fit license plate light assembly P/N 69353 05. (14 bux) from dealer.  Also need qty(2)  6-32 x 5/16 (I used 3/8 and it worked.) screws for that plus a connector part number 73153-96BK 3 pin that plugs into the tail light housing in a socket there for the light.  2 black wires from light plug into pins 1 and 3 leaving middle one open.  Looks like the whole tri-light assy is the same as the 09 SG.

All was accessible without taking of tire or fender, easy install.  2 bolts hold on the ts bar, wire guides are easy to get wire out of.  Just had to remember to put wires into 3 pin connector AFTER it is routed into tail lamp since that one won't fit through the fender holes for turn bar wires.  Almost screwed that up and put it on first.

Hope this is helpful for anyone else who wants to make this transition.  Now going out to the garage to install Arlen Ness Slam Kit on rear shocks.  Also got the Brukus bag locks and seat bolt.  Looks like a piece of cake.

Update!

According to my parts guide turn signal bracket P/N 68629-05 is what I got on my 11 ultra and that is the same as 06 SG.  (and other later model RGU's I believe)  That means I can use any license plate bracket made for 06 up SG and RGU apparently without any trouble.  All I have to do is take off the rigid mount reflector 57659-09 and use the mounting bosses that are already there.

Plus I will need license plate light assembly P/N 69353 05. (14 bux)

Had no idea they would recycle an "old" part into a new CVO.  Go figure.

Anybody chime in if I've got my facts wrong on this somewhere.

I'll post a pic of results.

Hey thanks Pete, that looks great.  If mine didn't have the extra graphics that curve around to the bottom back edge on the saddlebags that would work for me.

Ordered both a gloss black and a chrome kuryakin curved plate.  Can't tell which one I'll be sending back 'till I try 'em out.  Since I got Black EMber on the fender I'm thinking the gloss black will look sharper.  Not much chrome other than the fender struts and turn sig bar show from the rear now and I think the chrome plate holder may be too much.

I may post pics of both and get opinions here.

Thanks

One more.  I'm really happy with the result.  Now I need to find a good way to dress up the ugly bolts on the detach hardware where the license plate was mounted.

btw tried a black frame too but it just didn't look right since it wasn't anywhere close to the Black Ember and it made the partially covered CVO emblem more noticeable.

Make sure you put some tape on the fender until you get it all in place since it will be easy to scratch it while removing and unplugging the ts bar.

sledge, I was wondering if you could give us an opinion after installing the Arlen Ness Slam Kit. How much does it lower the rear, effect handling etc. Thanks CAHDBIKER

Sure I'll get back with y'all on that.  I want to ride over some irregular roads and railroad tracks, etc.

All is to the install is take off lower shock bolts, swing shock back, put on the adapters, use their bolts to fasten the lower shocks back on.  Looks like I have plenty of clearance for bags.  'Sposed to be one inch lower.

ps. I left out the part about putting bike on a stand first since I figured no one here would be dumb enough to try it on the jiffystand, lol.  (For the lawyers in here: I am not responsible for your injuries if you try it anyways.) ;D
