Update:  Delivered another load of stuff down to the house in Selma yesterday and discovered that the speakers mounted in the four corners of the room are NOT Bose, but some inexpensive Panasonics.  I don't know why I was thinking they were Bose... :nixweiss:

Sooooooooo....after much reading and consternation, today I ordered a set of Blackstone (Polk Audio) TL1600 speakers.  Got a deal on them, and they consistantly scored highest overall in several different independent reviews I read.  At least in their general price range, which is on the low end.  But my budget is low end, so they work.  So now I'll have the four corner speakers that are mounted at about ceiling height (the room is vaulted) and can be aimed where you want them, the new Subwoofer that comes in the "kit", and a center speaker that sits under the TV.  Plus, I'll have the Bose 301's on top of each bookshelf beside the TV, and I can use the Panasonic Subwoofer as the Yamaha amp is 7.2, if needed.  All that should be good enough.  Also ordered some Bananna compression type connectors for everything, just for ease of wiring.  Now all I have to do is get moved in, unpacked, and set everything up.  I get tired just thinking about it... ;)
