OK, has nobody even noticed that huge VENT in the windshield?  Talk about obstructing the view and would like to see how this works at night.  Think about that  critter running out in front of you and you can't see it because of the vent.  Gotta be replacing that windshield   ;D

That wind shield is not tall at all, you would be looking over it.  I can not see a situation except a parking lot where I might need to look through it.  If it works as they say it will be very nice.

Anxious to find out what the delivery date will be on mine, I get the first anniversary color one at the local dealership.

I'm 5'6 so look at things a bit different.  From the pictures, it looks like the vent would be just in or below my line of sight but would have to sit on one to verify.  Let you know after I do.  Don't know why you would need a vent in the windshield that's not that large anyway but hey, it's different.  If one likes wind in their face that much, just take it off.  You can tell a happy biker by the number of bugs in their teeth anyway! :bananarock: :bananarock:

The vent is not for air flow to the rider.  According to HD it is adjustable, and can be used to direct the air up and over your head to reduce or eliminate buffeting.  It was tested in some wind tunnel and such.  One on line article had a long write up about it and how it works.

Vent blocking critter? You would have to be about 5' tall. Windshield is so short, everybody will be looking over it. Kind of a novel thing, might be good on hot day.
