Hanging more and more on as the years go by is the CVO thing to do.  We all understand that's what Mother Harley does.  And this is certainly a nice bike.  But bag space occupied by audio will be a travel limitation when saddlebags are all you've got.  Plus with onboard audio and factory lowers it's almost getting to the point of not being a Road King anymore.  Electra King,  Road Kingaglide?  No, Street King is more like it.  This bike is what happens if a nice Street Glide and a cool Road King have a one night stand some night and the Road King gets knocked up.

Me too.  It's a cool bike.  My first impression was really something like that though.  Not so much a Road King anymore.  More of a hybrid.  With all the Street Glide touches that's really what the beast is.  Street King!

You may not want to think a lot about the nasty dirty night in the flea bag motel shared by the Road King and the Street Glide to start it all.  But the end result was good :2vrolijk_21: .

YEP!  And I will bet you that HD will have a quick disconnect fairing for that RK in no time.  Aftermarket already has them.
Buy a RK and spend another 15k to turn it into a Ultra...
And THAT is probably why HD will not treat the CVO Ultra to the cool looking rear end with the longer bags and fender.

OK, has nobody even noticed that huge VENT in the windshield?  Talk about obstructing the view and would like to see how this works at night.  Think about that  critter running out in front of you and you can't see it because of the vent.  Gotta be replacing that windshield   ;D

Its a beautiful bike BUT this CVO is no longer a Road King!  Look at it, its a Road/StreetGlide with the batwing faring, Harmon Kardon radio and gauges removed, everything else including the Ipod is there.  It looks like the windshield can be replaced with a non CVO shield.  My buddy was looking to buy one, after seeing it he said I don't want a StreetGlide I want a Road King and wont buy it.  I'm sure it will be a popular bike but I really think HD took the easy way out with this CVO Non Road King.

My bike was supposed to show up on the truck today.  It didn't :'(

Hopefully on next Wednesday's truck.

Expected delivery date was the 15th of Aug so it's late, very late :'(
