I had a bike shipped from Texas to Mass for $500. All the shipping companies wanted more. But I found a site where you can list what you want moved, with approximate dates, and what your budget is. I put a lowball price on it and got no bites. At $500 I thought no one would pick it up but I had 3 companies contact me. I ended up going with a company that puts it out on their network and ended up getting picked up by CK5 transport out of NH. All he did is bike can car transport. Was on his way back to the east coast and picked up the bike to help fill his load somewhat as he was coming this way anyways. I had to be flexible on the dates by a couple of days but they were in touch with me every day so no big deal
