Define great. Do you mean full control of all functions with the handlebar controls?

Well to be honest I have ridden 3 times since install.  Yes I can select a playlist by touching the soft button "playlist" and then it shows a + - screen and I can use the handle bar controls to scroll the playlists.
The same handle bar control scrolls thru songs if no soft key is selected first.
I am not sure of your expectations.  So I guess "works great" to me means...
1. It charges my phone
2. The nav blends in over the top of the music
3. My handlebar controls work to scroll thru songs
4. handle bar Volume works
5. incoming text and calls blend in over the top of music
I am still a rookie at the whole thing so there may be limitations I have not been made aware of yet.
I will be happy to test any functions for those with questions.

Great news for this issue.

I found a bluetooth adapter that plugs into the 30 pin connector. It is designed to make the 30 pin speaker docks work with the new phones. I just plugged one into my IPOD connector and now my iphone phone streams music, pandora radio and turn-by turn commands from the GPS map.!! They are about $25 and the size of a IPOD nano.

Is that the same one as posted above? If not, do you have a make, model, cost, and seller?

Guppy,

When I get back stateside I may sit down with you on the phone so you can talk me through how to use the different functions.

Ironhorse I will be glad to help in any way that I can. To clarify, I am using an HDPDPlus on mine.
I don't know anything about the other set-up.
